Dave travels to LDC Head Office to discuss upgrades.
Here is his report from the recent trip to Cleveland:-

I have just returned home from a great trip to the UK, Canada and the USA with my wife Christine. While on our travels we went to see the Head Office of LDC and had a good look around the plant and factory.
Doug (The Owner of LDC) and I discussed the new computer programme that TEI (NZ) has developed. This programme will be able to carry out all calculations in both metric and imperial. It will produce a calculation printout and a process procedure document that is used for all types of services. The new and improved estimating part of the programme is able to be set up to all companies requirements. It is very easy to use with help boxes available on all aspects of the programme.
This programme will assist the companies with the LDC Process and will only take a few minutes for each type of job.
LDC was very impressed with this programme and says that it is the only one in existence. It will be a joint venture to provide this programme to LDC agents and customers. This programme will be updated as an on-going commitment to our customers requirements on a free of charge basis.
The use of the shorter plating handles was also discussed and samples are now being tested and being approved by customers. Tauranga Engineering manufacture these handles in their engineering workshop here in Tauranga for LDC.
These new items are proof of the commitment by both TEI (NZ) Limited and LDC to strive forward for both customer and user of this type of equipment.
Both items should be available by the end of September.

Tauranga Engineering and TEI (NZ) Limited are very proud to be able to offer these upgrades and improvements to the already very successful Selective Brush Plating Division.
